Copy and paste in Yahoo.

Hi: I am in a GUI terminal. I select some text and click Edit>Copy. Then, in Yahoo.com, in the window were I am writing some message, I want to insert the copied text. This is using Seamonkey. But clicking Edit, Paste appears in dim letters (disabled). The same if I use Firefox. Can this be a problem of Yahoo's?

Copy/paste can be disabled via javascript, and many [annoying and stupid] sites do so. Sounds like something Yahoo would do...

Try the same page with javascript disabled and see if it works.

Sorry. I found the way to do it in Google. I did it, and it worked! Thanks a lot.

In recent firefox:
Code:
about:config (in address bar)

javascript.enable (search for this parameter, toggle to change)
Not sure about Seamonkey, but web search will find it.

...Ah! We posted about same time - glad it worked!
