console dual monitor?

hi people, another console question by me

is it possible to have dual monitor while in console. i don't mean coloned screen but for example work on tty1 on one screen and tty2 on other screen

how would you switch between the two? if it were possible?

The only "work around" I can think off is a different X init which has two very large CLIs :)
