Compiling error: /bin/ld: cannot find -la52
Hey guys, I'm having a lot of trouble with this one and I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I'm compiling Fuppe so I can stream videos to my Xbox 360. When I compile the SVN code, I get the following error at the very end:
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-slackware-linux/4.2.3/../../../../i486-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -la52
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [libfuppes.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/zujin/Desktop/fuppes-SVN-578/src'
make[1]: *** [install] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/zujin/Desktop/fuppes-SVN-578/src'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
There is a symbolic link to ld in the i486-slackware-linux/bin folder so I'm not sure what I'm missing.
Running Slackware 12.1 with virtually no updates.
Thanks for the years of help in advance. (I do a lot of searches and usually find my answer)
