Hi , after last batch of changes in slackbuilds, i remove jack-audio-conecction-kit , and install jack , cause all projects under slackbuilds want jack ,instead older.

The question is qtractor builds fine , but no start , in console i got

segmentation fault.

Im under slackware64-14.2 updated.

I try system-clean , to remove all packages not shiped under slackware , and reinstall qtractor, building all deps declared as needed ... python3 , jack , ..

But i got the same , segmentation fault.

I suspect is related to jack ...but i cant see nothing , only segmentation fault.

Anyone can build and run qtractor ?
I not emailed mantainer cause im not 100% sure what happen.

Rebuilt it just now and works fine for me.

Try

Then type inside gdb (and pressing enter, of course),

once it segfaults,
bt gives you the backtrace, might be enough to see what it is.

Strange, and immediately out of my knowledge/skill range, since that library is part of the aaa_elflibs package, and I have not yet had the courage to mess with those.
(and therefore didn't research them either).

Shot in the dark here, but you could try to bump the version since there is a more recent version.

Also, have you done an "install-new", too?

install-new under 14.2 ?? , no


I solved , i dont know why , but something goes bad in my installation ,

1 - I reinstall db42 , db44 and db48 in order
2 - Build again jack
3 - Build again qtractor

Now runs as excepted.
