cannot execute network.sh - permission denied

I try to install slackware from an usb stick using the usb-stick.img. Booting is ok, but i encounter a problem with the network.sh script: Although i login as root (i think it's default for the installation) i get, when i try to start the script by './network.sh' a: Permission denied!

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance.

You don't need to launch it manually, it's executed during setup.

... and if you really want to run it off the command line, do
Code:
sh network.sh
and thank goodness for 'sh' meaning 'bash' instead of 'dash' ...

Or change the permissions so the execute bit is set:
Code:
chmod +x network.sh
