Most of my google-fu indicates that people were having problems with newer version of firefox what this could have to do with QT5 is beyond me.

SO I remover the latest version of Firefox and installed the version that shipped with 14.1.

Probably a long shot but what the hey.

I am also building a 14.1 VM that is similar to what I have minus the more exotic touches

OK after extensive research I know that this error is caused by a bad or corrupted library. I also know that it is probably caused by a

slackpkg update
slackpkg upgrade-all

without blacklisting compat32/multilib .

So I think that it would probably be one of the libs that also have a compat32 version, does this sound reasonable ?

I have also seen this in one other place when I was messing around with GT5 builds.

Should the compat32 and regular libs be the same version ?

Some of them are not.

Am I on the right track or am I off in left field somewhere ?
