Bootsplash

I have 2.6.22.1 kernel patched with bootsplash and I've downloaded a bootsplash from kde-look.org, configured my lilo.conf:

But when I bootup the splash screen appears ok, black backgroung with a slack logo but the status bar doesn't move anywhere. The computer boots though.
First I thought it was a bad bootsplash so I tried another one but the effect was the same, picture appears, status bar doesn't move.
What should I do?

You need to change the rc-scripts to have them contain percent marks for the progress bar to work. I did that some time ago but don't remember more exactly. Check the readme.
