blender error installing

Did you install all the dependencies? There's a bunch.

Yes... if you build Blender from source there is a large list of dependencies here.

SBO has another blender package named "blender" (not Blender) which uses the binary distributed package from blender.org. This ships with a bundled Python3 and works fine here.

PS:The binary blender package is also more up-2-date the the "build-from-source" package.

also 2.74 is a bit old
