Blackberry 8700c on Slackware 13/64


I have NO idea what to do.

Any guides or whatever?

Have you tried berry4all? Your devices isn't listed, but you may want to give it a shot. I use it for my 8330 and the only thing I've noticed is that it randomly shuts down my laptop.

I've got to laugh at that....

But, since I'm not on your laptop, I'll give it a shot

Well, to be fair, my laptop may be overheating as well. I work in a van pretty much all day and the laptop stays in there. I also have an htc mogul that I use and it works fine.

* if you are wanting to set a correct charge, you can you barry (on SBo)
* for tethering there is XmBlackberry, its had a couple of issues being brought up to slackware64, but will be back on slackbuilds.org as soon as its ready. there is a build for slackware-12.2 but it would be a little bit of hacking.
