BCM4313 doesn't wok on 13.37 without installing Broadcom STA, but it used to work on -current since the change to the git version of the kernel firmware until a while back. I'd left my netbook collecting dust for a while and today I brought it up to date with -current and my wifi stopped working. ifconfig -a only shows eth0 and the loopback interface. Broadcom sta is not building on -current.
Is that something that is happening only to me or did anyone have a similar experience?
thanks for the link too! still won't build though.
After applying patch I get -
make: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-3.2.13'
scripts/Makefile.clean:17: /tmp/SBo/build-broadcom-sta/Makefile: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `/tmp/SBo/build-broadcom-sta/Makefile'. Stop.
make: *** [_clean_/tmp/SBo/build-broadcom-sta] Error 2
make: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-3.2.13
missing header files??
missing dependancy??
I'm gonna slap myself I know it
Script from slackbuild.org works on 13.37 64bit, but not for me on -current 64bit.
Make from within extracted tarball directory /hybrid-portsrc......, otherwise make couldn't find the makefile needed. Then insmod wl.ko!!
