...back again with questions

last logged in 3/01/05 at 12:55am .....

well after using suse for amd64 i was wondering what slack has as an offering to 64bit if any? i'm aware of slamd64 and also am aware of people with errors with that distro, not the stable slack that i have grown to love.

my other question is i've been searching around and i don't know how to match up md5 checksums? i've downloaded slack10.2 twice and both times have had install errors. what program should i use to check the md5 against the actual file checksum? this is for an older t-bird computer that still has 10.1 running on it and i just want a clean install on it.

another question, any speculation on how much longer until we see 11.0?

I guess still nothing. You can use the default slackware in a 64 bit computer I guess...

Code:
 man md5sum
