This is how Slackware AArch64 is installed on the RockPro64. eMMC isn't used. SATA is supported out of the box with two cards tested.
Check out the installation guide linked from arm.slackware.com.

drmozes is my new hero. SLARM is basically a 1-step process to install and drmozes' Full Slackware Install has many steps but they are small steps, exceptionally well-documented and the final product is a thing of beauty - a REAL Slackware Install on ARM. I'm just knocked out.

...and knocking this thread out and moving to a more niche area more appropriate to ARM, mobile, tiny NAS and all the rest. Thanks all.
