access internet directly !!

i access internet through "TP-link" router, i have only one laptop in the network, which i connect to router through eth0 interface.
the "TP-link"router has "rj11" port for the adsl phone line and 4 "rj45" ports.
my laptop contains ethernet interface, wireless interface, and there is also "rj11" port.
my question: is it possible to bypass the "TP-link" router and plug the adsl phone line directly to my laptop's rj11 port and make some routing configuration and then i can access internet?

Most likely the RJ11 port on your laptop is an interface to an analog modem, while you need a ADSL modem to make it work without external modem.
