A strange serial error

I have bought a pci-e device with two serial ports (useful if you have a headless server).
I configure grub as this

Code:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="vconsole.keymap=it LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 console=ttyS2,115200 rootflags=degraded"
and inittab

Code:
s1:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty -L ttyS2 9600 vt100
After reboot I can see the message on console, but not the login with agetty
what I miss?
System is: Slackware 15.0

The first thing I noticed is two different baud rates, 115200 vs. 9600.
