a nicer Slackware

I have a Slackware 9.1 box and I would like to make it look better.
For example at start, on SuSE 9, Fedora Core 1 or Mandrake 9.2 there is a nice screen, but on Slackware is just text. Do you know how could I make it look nicer? Or in SuSE 9 if I press F2 at start I can see the text mode but with a image on background. I would like something like this on my Slackware but how could I do that?
Thanks!

Search this forum for "bootsplash" and you'll find out about a nice graphical bootup thingy.

Slack can do text with a Tux image in the top left corner, if that helps. I think it's in the lilo settings.

I can start Slackware with the Tux image in the top left corner of the screen and with a resolution 1024x768 but I was wonder how could I make it look better.
I will search for "bootsplash".
Thanks for your answer.
