Reading the release notes it appears that Ponce's scripts will become the slackbuilds.org 15.0 repo. With all the work Ponce has been doing, I suspect the availability of the SBO-15.0 repo to be quicker than usual, but I do not know how many other maintainers still need to check their scripts against 15.
If you are sticking with -current, then the SBO 15.0 repo will work fine until it doesn't. I don't know what the plans are for -current scripts repo in the future, but the need for them is currently zero (pun intended).
there are (I think, I'm not in PV's head) few things to clear for a 15.0 Slackware release:
- stabilize kde 5.23.x with remaining bugs which will take some weeks or more.
- have an LTS kernel, 5.15.x may be this one (there is one LTS kernel every 5 or 6 stable release, the last one was 5.10), but it needs to stabilize with some 5.15.8 or more.
- make a decision for the inclusion of python-3.10 or 3.9.
- there won't be a mass rebuilt, because glibc-2.34 won't be included.
I would vote for 02/02/2022

Being on CET, my calendar had already turned a leaf when the release was annonunced on 22-2-3... but who cares! Tonight (22-2-4) I'll raise a belated glass of Aberlour a'bunadh in praise of Pat and all those people in an around the team that have contributed. Thanks thanks thanks thanks...
If you haven't got the bandwidth or time to download Slackware 15.0, I'll make a deal with you:
Send me proof of a donation to Pat/Slackware, or proof that you've signed up to the Slackware Patreon and I'll send you an installation DVD (no source code) for free.

Hit me up!
what if someone's bandwidth has something to do with the fact they are not in a financial situation to donate?

On the Patreon, Pat asks for $1.50 per month, which isn't much at all. It costs many times that amount to run a computer.
But if that's your scenario, send me a message and we'll talk.
BTW - I should mention that it's coming from Australia, so you might need to be patient with the post.

That's not my "scenario", at least not at the moment. For the record, I have donated to Slackware via PayPal, since I have no idea how to use Patreon. I actually donated today as well, although I no longer use Slackware.
What rubbed me off the wrong way in your post was that if you want to help someone out, you just help them out. No one has to "prove" you anything. That being said, I am sure you're a nice guy, and I do not intent to start a fight. Peace.
