Well you prove our point: you work alone don't have to admin "several rolling users" with different workstations (apple, windows, linux), different jobs (accounting, video processing, graphic production, CGI, multiple language programming, scalable server cluster...).

So in fact you have a VERY limited work, not even developing a piece of code...

So yes, you're NOT a typical "high end" user... At least from my point of view you're a hobbyist... Making money but far for being a typical "new technology" engineer. I know a lot of people, using their 'above the average' so-called skills in computer to make a comfortable living... But sorry, this is NOT being an expert and a "pro" computer scientist (*).

Well at least you make me laugh. Admit it you're just making fun of us all and in fact you're an endless april's joke ?

Sort of a "perfect" OS that no one can make use of. Plan9 comes to mind.

Cheers
exactly, and there is also the funny fact that if you keep things to simple it becomes very complicated to make something useful

That's about enough I think. Since some positive contributions have been made (as in put your code where your mouth is), and since the OP has made a somewhat closing statement and the rest of you have had enough time to expose your incessant bickering attitude to the world (again) I'll mark this thread solved and closed.
