Hey everyone. I am trying to install a Linksys Wireless G USB adapter (model # WUSB54GC) to a second desktop from my Windows machine (which I'm working on right now) with Fedora Core 6 installed on it. My second computer has no internet connection right now so therefore Linux cannot retrieve software info from the internet (hence the reason for the wireless adapter). The computer is running an older Intel Celeron with 256Mb of ram (I know it's slow, but it's a learning machine
). I like to say that I am quite proficient with computers, but all I've worked with really is Windows XP so therefore I have no experience with the command line or any of that kind of stuff. I have not plugged in the adapter directly yet as it says to insert the install disc first. If I run the setup on the install disc Linux immediately goes to the net, which isn't connected. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
