Mounting .bin files

Does anyone know how to mount or extract .bin files. In windows, I use daemon tools but I'm trying to avoid using that OS.

I've tried several things. I've tried converting the bin to an iso file using bin2iso but I couldn't figure out how to install bin2iso. I have the bin2iso source code but when I ran "make" I got all sorts of errors. I've also tried mounting it with cdemu but again, the installation didn't go very well, I followed the instructions to the letter and when I go to run the program, I get command not found error.

If there's another way that I've overlooked for mounting or even just extracting the contents of a bin file in slackware, please let me know

Thanks.

try :

mount -o loop <file> /<mountpoint>

i believe that will work with .bin as well as .iso

U can use cdemu or bchunk
http://cdemu.org/
http://he.fi/bchunk/
Or if it's an movie then use mplayer to play the bin file.
You can also use bin2iso to convert the binfile to an iso (i usaly use this one).
Or DD also works but it requires alot of flags.
