Burning data DVD with Knoppix

I have a XP box that won't reboot. I need to save the documents folder. I've used Knoppix in the past to do so with success. But this time, the Docs folder is veeeeeeeeeeeery big (multiple gigs). I would rather burn to DVD than CD. The XP box does has to optical drives (one DVD burner).

I'm using Knoppix 3.4. I've tryed with K3B but it does not seem to burn data to DVD. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? If K3B is not the right application to burn data DVD, is there another one within Knoppix 3.4 that would do the job? Any other suggestion ? As you probably know by now, I am not a Linux pro, so please, nothing to "console". :-)

Thank you for taking the time to help me. Obviously, they are both the same post...mine. If this is a joke, I don't find it very funny. If it's your way of telling me I can't post twice the same question on 2 different forums, why not just tell me straight out !
