possible bug in konsole ??

Hi, I would like to know if someone else has seen this as well.

Here is what I am trying to do

1. Open up konsole. Go to Settings->Bell - it is set to "System Bell"
2. Change it to "System Notification"
3. Click Settings->Save as Default - konsolerc stores this as bellmode=1
4. Kill konsole and open another one.
5. Got to Settings->Bell - It is still set to "System Bell"
6. If I set it again to "System Notification", it works for that session
but if I kill the session and start another one, it again goes back to
"System Bell"
7. If I set it to "Visible Bell" and click Settings->Save as Default -
konsolerc stores this as bellmode=2
8. If I now start a new session, and check Settings->Bell, it is correctly
set to "Visible Bell"

This tells me that

1. konsole is indeed reading the konsolerc
2. ..but it somehow does not recognize the setting for
"System Notification"

Is this a bug ? or am I not understanding something right ?
I am using KDE 3.3.3

..nevermind. I found a solution - konsole is looking for a missing kcmartsrc ..force-created it by going to Sounds System in the control center and now it works ..

basically you need the kcmartsrc file in the ~/.kde/share/config directory. If it is not there you can create it by opening Control Center - go to Sound and Multimedia --> sound system - and check 'Enable Sound System' - if already checked , then maybe uncheck, save - check again and save again - something like that - It has been so long back, I don't remember what exactly I did to fix the problem - but I do have the kcmartsrc file now and I do not have the problem with konsole anymore
