Soundcard in GNOME

I finally got 2.6.1 installed on Slackware. However, my sound card is not configured. I have a soundblaster Live 128. I made it a module. I gave a "modprobe snd_emu10k1". Is this even the correct module for the SB Live 128?

I also noticed when I do a "lspci" I get this line for sound:

Code:
00:0d.0 Multimedia audio controller: Linear Systems Ltd.: Unknown device 5000 (rev 01)
Huh? Isn't that supposed to be the SB Live?

Does it load that module at all? AFAIK that module is actually just emu10k1 without the snd in front of it.

Can you post your full output of lspci? and or 'cat /proc/pci'

Tell me you didn't double post now did you? You should update any other threads if you resolve your problem in the future and try to keep existing discussions in the same threads please.

Regards.
