"I've got dosemu working with freedos but since I need to access a netware server I need to run a different version of dos. Problem is I'm clueless as to how to start. "
And the DOSEMU documentation sure is no help. For a while I substituted Novell DOS 7 for FreeDOS. I simply overwrote the FreeDOS programs with the Novell DOS 7 programs. I am back to using FreeDOS again.
On my system the FreeDOS directory is:
/usr/local/share/dosemu/freedos
You will find a directory called /dosemu somewhere in your user tree. If FreeDOS is installed in /usr/local/share/dosemu/freedos then somewhere in /dosemu there will be symbolic links to programs in /usr/local/share/dosemu/freedos. If FreeDOS is installed in user space then /dosemu will contain actual FreeDOS programs instead of symbolic links.
