Red face o1's scroll on the screen instead of booting up


just installed mandrake 8.2. screen said it was a successful install.. then when rebooting, it does not boot up, just fills the screen with scrolling 01's, millions of them.. anyone with any ideas? I reinstalled it, same thing..

For some reason lilo isn't being installed correctly. Did you create a boot floppy disk during the install? If so boot up linux and then post your /etc/lilo.conf file.

Also post your hardware any and all info is usefull. Also post configuration i.e. how you installed linux i.e duel boot, multiple drives etc.
