Remote Desktop Tool

well, been out of touch with linux for a very long time. I heard there's a good tool to do RDP to Windows boxes. Is it rdesktop? I haven't tried it yet. Infact, I don't have a Linux installation yet, but can someone with experience educate us on rdesktop or other alternatives?

TIA

yup, you want rdesktop

rdesktop is what you want. It does everything the Windows Remote Desktop Connection tool can and probably more. I use it all the time for the machines at work.

I know Fedora Core has tsclient - a front end to rdesktop that allows you to save details for multiple machines and access them by name. I'm not sure if any other distros include it tho'.

Seems to me it's not Fedora-related, but a separate project just taken into Fedora.

Remote Desktop Tool

I've used several distros in the past and currently use Ubuntu, but out of all the choices I prefer krdc.
