More help with 2.6 kernels
I'm trying to make use of the 2.6 kernels in -current (rsync'd as of today 9/28). Whenever I boot one of the kernels I wind up with a panic saying the root fs cannot be mounted. The last note is "tried: ext2"
From what I can see in the config files both huge26.s and 2.6....-smp were built with reiserfs=y (my fs) which, to my understanding, specifies it is in the kernel.
'm going to try an initrd, but this doesn't make sense to me.
Any thoughts?
