[Solved] Slack64 Current - proftpd 1.3.6 - UseIPv6: missing parameters line 22 /etc/proftpd.conf

Slack64 Current, kernel 4.10.12, Fri Apr 21 22:40:12 UTC 2017 updates.
The proftpd 1.3.6 /etc/proftpd.conf file reads:
Code:
# Don't use IPv6 support by default.
UseIPv6
With this proftpd fails to start and I see in the /var/log/messages:
Code:
Apr 23 11:18:29 riposo proftpd[2566]: fatal: UseIPv6: missing parameters on line 22 of '/etc/proftpd.conf'
Commenting out this UseIPv6 line resolves the problem.

I have an inet6 address (fe80::7285:c2ff:fe20:74c2), but for as far as I am aware no IPv6 is provided by my ISP.

the default in /etc/proftpd.conf as provided by the Slackware package in current is
Code:
# Don't use IPv6 support by default.
UseIPv6 off
you can check it by reinstalling the package, for example.
can it be you got an older configuration file and you forgot to update it with the content of /etc/proftpd.conf.new? In the previous /etc/proftpd.conf file the option UseIPv6 wasn't even present...
