Gaim installation in SLES 9

Hi,

I have problem installing the gaim1.5 and gaim beta2 in SLES9. I use the source package, extract it adn tried to compile but failed. The error message displayed is related to missing pkg-config and glib2. So I download the pkg-config0.20 and installed it and the glib2 was already installed(version 2.2.3). But I still get the same error. What did I do wrong here? How to setup the pkg_congfig PATH? Can someone list the proper step on how to install gaim?

Thank you....

You should use Yast to install applications.
