Gaming on Dual Monitors

I am trying to game on a dual monitor setup. I am using Debian with the 2.4 kernel. I am using nvidia's twinview option to run the dual monitors. My problem is that when I start up a game it starts up in the middle, between both monitors, this is a problem since the right monitor is to the right a foot and lower then my left monitor. I am wondering if there is a command to pass through games to make them run on just one monitor. Or if there's a way to configure X to run games and 3d apps on just on monitor. Here's my xfree86 cfg

Code:
# XF86Config-4 (XFree86 X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the XF86Config-4 manual page.
# (Type "man XF86Config-4" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xfree86 package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xfree86
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following commands as root:
#
# cp /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.custom
# md5sum /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 >/var/lib/xfree86/XF86Config-4.md5sum
# dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86

I have found that each game has its own config and I have never bothered to try and force a game to run fullscreen on one monitor but always use the run in window option and drag the window to the required location.
I guess it would be possible to set an X session on each monitor and then the game would only see the monitor that its X session was running on but then you lose that big desktop.
I think the NVidia readme tells you how to do it in one of the Appendixes at the end.
