Belkin 54g/Broadcom chipset with Mandrake 10.0?

Hi guys,

I hope someone can help here. I installed 9.2 a few months back but as it didnt support either my sata HD or wireless card I decided to wait until 10.0 was here and give it another go. Well, the sata's working beautifully but still no wireless which isn't much use to me as I must be connected at all times for one reason and another. I realise there is linuxant driverloader out there but why should we have to pay for some software to run some software that I should've got with the card anyway?
Anyhoo, can anyone give me pointers on how to get f5d7000 running? It would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Snecker

i think u going to have to stick with driverloader, if you can afford wireless im sure you can afford $20.00 for a lifetime driver that will work.

I did the same too

You might want to check and see if ndiswrappers supports that card. I have a Dell TrueMobil 1300 Card in my laptop, which I believe is based of the broadcom chipset. Works wonderfully with the ndiswrapper package.
