sagem fast 800 usb ? no way!

i've already posted and appeal for help in the newbie section

here i post some answers i receive from my system:

at the adictrl -i (print modem interface name) comand

"Unable to open any supported device!
Please check your modem is connected and (re)send it its firmware!"

ok, then let's send it it's firmware with the comand adictrl -f

"Unable to open any supported device!
Please check your modem is connected and (re)send it its firmware!"

and so on with any comand you send to this damned device!

note that with usbview the device is detected as "Unknown device" so IT IS CONNECTED

i'm using MANDRAKE 9.1 that theorically should detect this modem automatically (they say)

what can i do?
can somebody help me?

I think I'm exactly in the same trouble.

Each command says : are you sure that ytour modem is connected ?

Note : What is thsi usbview command you are talking about ?

the /var/log/messages says :
Nov 6 23:32:17 ticerosrv1 kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:1d.1-2, assigned address 6
Nov 6 23:32:17 ticerosrv1 kernel: usb.c: USB device 6 (vend/prod 0x1110/0x9022) is not claimed by any active driver.

Does someone have the answer ?

I've solve my problem by recompiling the kernel (something was wrong in the usb-hci driver) without adiusbadsl support and installing eagle1.0.4e driver.
You will find the complete descriptif here : http://f ast800.tuxfamily.org in the forums section. Look for my name.
