Grub

I had RedHat 9 and Windows XP both loaded on my Dell Laptop. I used Partition Magic to delete RedHat 9. When I rebooted my laptop, all I get is the word "GRUB" on the screen and the system will go no further. Anyone know what to do?

Grub is a program that let you choose what you want to boot (between Windows and Linux for example).
If you have deleted Red Hat, you need to reinstall the default boot for Windows...

Boot on Windows installation CD Rom
Select : Repare or recover installation
You then get to the prompt : c:\windows
type in
fixmbr
then to quit, type in
exit

You should be able to boot then...
