Need some help with firefox addons

I'm new to Sabayon and I'm using Version 5.1 and after messing around with it the last few days I've gotten comfortable with it other than a couple small issues.

I am unable to add Adblock plus to FF.... Why? I can add my other favorite addons but with adblock I get this error message...

Any clues here?

That's not a Sabayon issue. It's an issue with the website's domain status. Manually download the addon package to your system and install it in FF that way. To manually download, just RIGHT click on this link --> https://addons.mozilla.org/downloads...n-installation <-- and choose "Save Link As". Save it in your downloads directory on your Sabayon system or wherever you normally download stuff. Go there after the file is downloaded, RIGHT click on it and Open With... Firefox.

That should do it for you.

Luck!

Interesting. Thanks for the reply. I tried your suggestion but came back with the same resulting message.

Should I purge and re-install FF? Its fine other than this simple little issue.

You mean you downloaded the extension to your system and still couldn't install it in FF? Hmmm... What are you settings under Security in the FF prefs regarding addons? Everything checked?
