User or Group Creation Details

Hello,

How can I check or audit when and by whom a local user/group was created?

Thanks.

Logwatch

If Logwatch is running, root gets mailed its results daily. I have the log watch emails delivered off our Linux servers to a generic email user, so that our staff can log in and see what's going on.

You can also grep through /var/log/*.
