True Type Fonts in Kde, Redhat 9

Hey,
I just installed RH 9 and im very happy with it, except for the fonts, The look so ugly!
So i did a bit of fiddling and i have GIMP and a few programs working with them, but i cant get kde to use them, it just doesnt see them, and a few programs like aMSN dont see the fonts either!

Any help is appreciated, im a complete newby when it comes to changing things like this!

hi there

open u ur Xf86config file in /etc/X11
there u can see the path set for ttf fonts
then u can add more ttf fonts to that directory and after a reboot ,u can see those fonts through control center

Worked perfect!

But i have a few problems with the fonts now, Firefox wont use them, and some of them mess up in aMSN, Like my main font is Tahoma but in aMSN theres gaps between every letter! And i cant seem to get that sorted! Any ideas?
