Telewest Broadband UK via USB modem Works Perfectly!

hi all. i finally got my telewest broadband to work on redhat 9. its very simple. u just need to configure your network connection manually. by using the netconfig command. select yes and enter all the required details which is available if you installed your modem on Windows.

Details you need :-

Your Mac Address
Your IP Address
Subnet Mask
Default Gateway
DHCP server
Main DNS Server

my usb device was given the name eth0 by default.

once everything is added to your connection settings. everything will be working fine without any other tunning.

Enjoy!
