Question tar backups


Can someone please tell me how to copy tripwire from my rh9 install and tranfer it to Fedora Core 5??

If you're talking about the enterprise agent, last time I looked it installed to a single location - /usr/local/tripwire/te/agent.

Those are seriously different versions; why not just get it through Add/Remove SW ? Except F5 has been closed off for a long time ... try the current F12(?)

You should seriously consider a more recent version of either Fedora, CentOS, or RHEL. You're not going to get any kind of patches for FC5.
