starting x window


Hi, i tried to start X window on my redhat 9.0 (personal computer edition), after typing "startx"

*********************************************************
Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.XO-lock and start again.

********************************************************
it is like this after the installation, and i did nothing with it other then typing startx and seeing this message..

in your /etc/inittab file there is a line that looks like id:3:initdefault: What does your say?
