RHEL - kernel: mptscsih: ioc0: attempting task abort!


Hi

In one of my linux server I got above error twice and 2 of the database has been crashed.

In the same ref. I would like to know more details from OS perspective about above error.

kernel: mptscsih: ioc0: attempting task abort! (sc=ffff8101d36719c0)
kernel: mptscsih: ioc0: task abort: SUCCESS (sc=ffff8101d36719c0)
kernel: mptscsih: ioc0: attempting task abort! (sc=ffff81023e63c6c0)
kernel: mptscsih: ioc0: task abort: SUCCESS (sc=ffff81023e63c6c0)


I am using RHEL 5.6 VM on ESX 5.0 VMWARE.

That is something I would contact red hat support for. It may be related to a current Fedora bug... https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=483424
