RDesktop with SmartCard issues

I am seeing the same issue trying to use RHEL 5, ccid-1.0.1-6.el5, pcsc-lite-1.4.99 and rdesktop-1.6.0. The rdesktop executable help shows the following as options when using the smartcard:

'-r scard[:"Scard Name"="Alias Name[;Vendor Name]"[,...]]
example: -r scard:"eToken PRO 00 00"="AKS ifdh 0"
"eToken PRO 00 00" -> Device in Linux/Unix enviroment
"AKS ifdh 0" -> Device shown in Windows enviroment
example: -r scard:"eToken PRO 00 00"="AKS ifdh 0;AKS"
"eToken PRO 00 00" -> Device in Linux/Unix enviroment
"AKS ifdh 0" -> Device shown in Windows enviroment
"AKS" -> Device vendor name

It is not clear to me where to get the Linux and Windows device names to use.

Has anyone found how to get the devices names to provide and whether or not the resolves the issue?
