That's an old distribution, so the technique I used with Slackware v. 10 might work.
Short version:
1. Connect the device.
2. Open a terminal and, as root, run "
dmesg."
3. Examine the output of dmesg to find the device.
4. Make a mount directory in /mnt or /media.
5. Enter the device in your
fstab with the appropriate variables.
