kwisi LQ Newbie Registered: Sep 2004 Posts: 6 Rep:	LVM2 RPM Help Hi, I am trying to upgrade to mkinitrd-3.5.15 in Red Hat 9. However, it needs the lvm2 package to be installed for the installation to complete. So, I downloaded the latest lvm2 RPM package. But when I tried to execute the rpm command, it gave me the following errors... ****** file /usr/share/man/man8/lvchange.8.gz from install of lvm2-2.00.08-2 conflicts with file from package lvm-1.0.3-12 file /usr/share/man/man8/lvcreate.8.gz from install of lvm2-2.00.08-2 conflicts with file from package lvm-1.0.3-12 file /usr/share/man/man8/lvdisplay.8.gz from install of lvm2-2.00.08-2 conflicts with file from package lvm-1.0.3-12 *********** any suggestions? Thanks!
