linuxrc:please help in editing

Please can anyone help me how to create/edit linuxrc file? A step by step how to perhaps?

Do you just want to edit it?
vi /path/to/linuxrc

Or are you looking for some sort of specific bash scripting help?

What I really wanted to do was to create/edit a initrd file,perhaps for a live cd of my redhat installation. I googled and found a lot of tutorials and howtos on initrd but not explanation on how to create or edit a linuxrc file-most just state "edit the linuxrc file" and that's all.

So please maybe use a specific sample linuxrc file and explain each line?

Hi ...I am also lookinf for the same ...please let me know if u have found somthing related with editing linuxrc..
