Installing Redhat 9 from Hard disk

Is it possible to install Red Hat 9.0 from your HDD ?

I have the 3 CDs and I was hoping I can copy it over to
HDD and install it from there ?

I have tried to install this from 6 different CD_ROM drives
but all gives me a "cannot read package" on disk 2.
However I can copy disk 2 to HDD just fine without any errors
or anything. Tried it multiple time too.

Your best bet would be to try to install Fedora 6. Redhat 9 is very old and unsupported.

On a side note it is possible to boot an iso from your HDD drive if you already have Grub installed.

Yes, I know. I have Fedora 6.
But I'm reading a ISP setup guide that follows RedHat 9.
Since I have not very experianced with Linux, i was willing to
follow what the book followed. Othewise i might not be able to find
things in the right places.
