Install Problem RH9

I have recently rebuilt my PC New motherboard, graphics, ram, HDD

now when i come to install RH9 it boots from the CD does all the preboot command stuff, then when it tries to start the Grpahics Install, the monitor says input missing and turns off.

This never happened with the old parts, the graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce N MX400 AGP SDR 64MB

Probably a bug or a missing driver. It is long since i used redhat, but i think you can install it in text-mode (Press f2 on startup to see options). See if it works...

Howzit

when u boot up with CD type at the installer prompt linux noprobe this will allow u to install and specify what u want to install.

One installed in text mode goto nvida website and dwnld drivers that represents your graphics card. Linux will not see that card automatically u will need thows drivers.

ciao
