I have my data on my dvd of RHEL4 but it's not booting while I tryng to install.in m


plz answer asp.

It appears you tried to put your whole question in your title and failed.

You might want to edit the original post so the question is clear.

When you say you have your data on a disc exactly how did you create the disc? Not all disc's are bootable - you have to make them bootable at the time you create them. You may need to find a bootable disc (e.g. a Live CD) and boot from it so that you're running an OS in RAM then remove that and mount your data disc under it. However, if you're attempting to recover a failed system this won't do it - you need to give more details on what failure you're having.

If you need 'asp' help, then I'd suggest you call RedHat support...since you're using RedHat enterprise, you're paying for it, right?
