configure redhat9 to run in two deferent machines questions

hi
i have dual boot for windows xp and redhat linux 9
some times i have to go to friend's cyber cafe to do some jobs and downloads.
every time i go there i remove the hard-disk drive from certain machine ( Intel Pentium 4 ) like mine and plug my own hard-disk.
i gonfigured two hardware profiles for my windows system so i can just plug and play my windows OS.
the question is : do i have to reconfigure redhat shrike every time i plugged my hard-disk in the machine in cybernet cafe? and re-reconfigure hard ware when i got back home? or there is Small trick i can do to make two profiles like hardware profiles in windows OS?
i thank that i may install linux using VMware workstation but this method will take alot of my system resources .
i'd really like to run my own linux OS in that cyberNet cafe cause he has DSL connection.
any idea?
thanks all

Unfortunately you have to setup the differences in hardware each time to my knowledge.
