Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

What do you mean by complete details? Look at the output of the command:

cat /etc/issue

You can use

Quote:
cat /etc/redhat-release
for redhat version details

Quote:

RedHat kernelversion (uname -a) does not really provide any information about what patches are installed to kernel source. Redhat backports many newer functions to their kernel to prevent from changing interfaces and libraries and provide long term support for one version to their customers.
