Angry Cannot Install From CDs

I cannot install Redhat 9 from the .iso's. Here's what I have tried so far:

1. Downloaded iso's from mirror. All three of the i386 iso's
2. Extracted them using WinRar
3. Copied the extraction to my CDRW drive and then burned them using the built-in software in Windows XP.
4. Set BIOS to boot from CD
5. Rebooted with CD 1 in the drive. Nothing booted to Linux/DOS splash screen.
6. Checked the web. Someone said that the disks need to be burned using Easy Cd Creator. Thought what a load since XP's software is based on Roxio's engine, but whatever. Downloaded Easy CD Creator and burned another three cds. Same results.
7. My professor at school said to uninstall Redhat 7. Did not want to reformat to do this so I used Partition Magic to delete the Linux partition. Bad idea since GRUB was written to the MBR. Had to reformat anyways.
8. Tried disks again. Nothing.
9. Reinstalled XP with NTFS (probably will run into problems later with that one.) Since I could not get past the GRUB loader.
10. Redownloaded the iso's from yet another mirror. Have not done anything with them yet since I do not want to waste yet another three cd's.

SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME IN PLAIN ENGLISH PLEASE

Have you had any success with any bootable CD’s as of late? Have you tried booting any other machines off of these CD’s?

Personally I have not used either XP’s built in software or Easy CD creator, so I am not in much of a position to discuss these applications. I usually use the linux command line application ‘cdrecord’ to burn disc from .iso images, and I have had a good deal of success with this tool.

If you are in Windows, open windows explorer, and check the title that has been assigned to the first disk of your Red Hat Linux 9.0 installation set.

How to Verify ISOs: http://linuxiso.org/viewdoc.php/verifyiso.html
How to Burn ISOs: http://linuxiso.org/viewdoc.php/howtoburn.html

I would first of all make sure that your iso files are good (use the first link) and then use the second link to make sure you are burning them correctly.

When installing, install Windows first (NTFS or FAT) as it overwrites the MBR, then install Linux. If you need to reinstall Linux at any point, you don't need to remove the partitions or format them - I usually reuse whatever partitions have been previously created.

Able to Install

I was able to get them to install by not extracting and just pointing Nero to the image and then telling it to burn the image. The disks and the install work just fine. Now however I cannot see the GUI. When it gets to the part after verifying that everything is ok, my monitor flickers and then says "NO Signal" nothing after that. Have to cold boot to get it to do anything. I have an NVidia GEforce FX 5200 with 128MB of RAM during the install I chose a generic NVidia GeForce FX, instead of the one that was probed since that gave me the same problem with the graphical installation. I did a text installation. Any ideas, one how to get it to boot to the command line so that I can edit whatever I need to, to get the display to work. I also have a Proview 558 Flat panel LCD monitor.

yeah, you have to burn ISO's a certain way just like said... Not sure about the GUI, try editing your /etc/inittab file and changing the "5" to a "3", reboot, login as a user, then type "startx"

You may need to get nvidia drivers from nvidia in order to get your video card to work. They should have them on your web site with instructions.
