I am ultimately responsible for the forum ... Warts and all.

With an audit log any acts of moderation will be recorded, and visible as such.

Transparency of moderator actions can only happen with the new software, and there I am a bottleneck. I will be happy to make the audit logs public when we have this.

I think common sense gets exercised most of the time by most people.
Which makes it that much more obvious when others don't.
no kidding, ya sure and dream on

if the murga forum has died, that is a sad, sad thing. Obviously others will step in and open up forums which will become tremendously helpful, but will take some time to build up. So much information and discussions have been lost, some of which I would love to go back to every now and then.
Great to have a space here at LQ! Hope I can find my way around here now.
Thread closed. This is utterly pathetic and you all should be ashamed of yourselves. The thread was merely to point out that the main Puppy forum is down, it is not a place where you can all come in swinging your handbags and making a mess of the forum. If you don't like Puppy or the forums or the way the project is run, go write a blog about it. Do not come here and have arguments. This thread has generated more complaints than any of the mindless nonsense in General. So well done for that.
